On their wedding day, it was raining cats and dogs, and it didn´t look like we would have a very pleasant wedding photography shoot outdoors. But only 15 minutes before we had agreed to meet, the sky cleared, and we had a great and fun photo session together.

Bjørn and Helle, were are a really relaxed and down to earth kind of couple on your big day. I am glad I got the chance to capture snapshots of you and your beautiful family. All my best wishes for a happy life together! :)

The two girls wanted to have their pictures taken as part of their confirmation celebration. They are best friends, going to school together, and wanted to take both some individual portraits and some shots of them together. The girls very quickly responded to my instructions, and soon they both really made their personality shine through :) I had fun shooting you girls, hope you liked it too :) Below are some shots from the session. This little girl has a smile that can melt everyone around. At least she melted my heart, and gave me some wonderful smiles during our photoshoot that lasted around 1,5 hours in total. We had lovely sunny weather in this late september weekend (yep, I’m waaaay behind in my blogging), and the beautiful area around one of the museums in Trondheim created a wonderful scene for the shots of this wonderful girl.

The little smile, or the small moments where our eyes meet, as if the little ones are just making sure, if… “can you see me, dad?”… It’s magical, and it’s impossible to describe how it makes you feel alive :)

I have had the joy of photographing other kids and other families lately… and in a very little amount of time learning a little about the “family chemistry” being unique in each and every family is incredible exiting. The biggest challenge, though, is to capture all it’s uniqueness through the lens. Below are some captures taken a couple of weeks ago of two really cool little guys :) Enjoy!
