For myself, 2011 has been a year that has given me lots of great experiences; several exciting trips with both family and friends, watch and support the kids and my wife in taking new steps in their lives, getting to know a lot of (new and not so new) fabulous people even better, having small dreams come true in my professional career, as well as being able to enjoy the fact that both me and the family that surrounds me all are healthy and safe .

I hope all my friends in both real life and you who visit my little corner here in the internet have a wonderful and blessed Christmas holiday. I wish you all a truly happy new year throughout 2012!

So a little blog post showing these pictures feels just right.

I love the little love story between father and son being expressed through these snapshots. I love the “casual” feeling… and the light that day gave the pictures an extra “snap” :)

Not sure if the expression on the little one in the lower right photo is caused by something really exciting… or if it’s just a yawn due to a boring photographer :)

Just wanted to share a couple of shots taken while preparing for three(!) weddings I am going to photograph in February. I am really excited about getting the opportunity to capture the most important day for some really wonderful couples :) I have always found a lot of inspiration in wedding photography, and can’t wait to get going :)

This is one of the first shots I took with the 24-70L i just got. The lens provides what all review state;sharpness and popping colors. I think I have got myself a new favorite lens.

This is the little cute boy of a friend of mine who came over for a visit not long ago… I took some snapshots of the little one, and edited them and printed them for her while she was visiting :) Always a joy to make people happy by giving them small unexpected gifts :)
