The sparkle in their eyes… // Barnefotograf Trondheim

Nothing brings more joy and happiness than watching my kids running around, being all and everything in their own little “bubbly” world. The little smile, or the small moments where our eyes meet, as if the little ones are just making sure, if… “can you see me, dad?”… It’s magical, and it’s impossible to describe how it makes you feel alive:)

I have had the joy of photographing other kids and other families lately… and in a very little amount of time learning a little about the “family chemistry” being unique in each and every family is incredible exiting. The biggest challenge, though, is to capture all it’s uniqueness through the lens. Below are some captures taken a couple of weeks ago of two really cool little guys:)Enjoy!

The lazy summer…

It has been ages since last update on my photoblog… but now I finally have found time to edit some photos again.
The summer started really fun with photographing the wedding of Arne and Janicke, which were previewed on my blog earlier this summer. The full post of their wedding is also underway.

After the great start,  I have enjoyed some really relaxing days with my family, travelling around, meeting lots of great friends I haven’t met for a long time. I have simply had a great summer holiday! I have also taken a lot of pictures… I will upload some more in the weeks to follow:)

Wedding photography // Janicke & Arne // Sneak peak

It was pouring down, and the weather seemed if it would spoil the entire wedding… but Janicke and Arne turned the most rainy day so far this year into a day filled with light and laughter. I feel blessed to be given the opportunity to capture your most important day. You are a lovely couple!

London ~ from a different angle…

Just letting go of the crazy hectic everyday is recommended from time to time… I brought my camera, and took some snapshots during the weekend… OK, I admin it; I’m no typical “tourist” photographer. So please go easy on these weird shots…:)

I had the joy of having a pre-wedding photography session with  Janicke and Arne a couple of weeks before their big day. We had a great session, even if the weather wasn’t all on our side. Abstract beauty

My father loves flowers, and he loves to have them all around. Inside the house, outside, all over. I saw one of these bouquets he loves last time I visited, and got the inspiration to take this dreamy little shot. I simply took the bouquet outside to get proper lighting, and … voilà…. When getting real close, nothing can compare with the beauty of flowers.

Father and son

Sometimes beautiful pictures are taken, and for some reason get “lost” among lots of other pictures… I recently found these highly random snapshots taken last autumn.. but for some reason, I kind of forgot to bring them out “in the light” where they belong. So a little blog post showing these pictures feels just right.

I love the little love story between father and son being expressed through these snapshots. I love the “casual” feeling… and the light that day gave the pictures an extra “snap”:)

Not sure if the expression on the little one in the lower right photo is caused by something really exciting… or if it’s just a yawn due to a boring photographer:)

Ready for her first performance…

It has been ages since my last blog post. It has been busy days lately, but I’ll try to get back into a more frequent updates on my blog again…:)

This little ballerina had her first performance together with the rest of the girls in her dance group in front of more than 800 spectators in Olavshallen this weekend … it was a amazing experience, both for the little one and her parents! And being allowed to wear make-up seemed to make her day:)

Better together // Bryllupsfotograf Trondheim

Sometimes a song says more than 1000 words (or was it a picture??:D). “Better together” by Jack Johnson – this peculiar little song was (amongst others) played during their reception to a slideshow of pictures from their childhood. And for some strange reason I’ve gotten this song on my mind… also because I think it fits so well to the lovely couple.
