Going analogue! ;)

This is my newest “thingie”! This weekend I went with my wife to a large centre where they sold all kinds of old and well used stuff… and I was surprised to see lots of old and broken cameras there… I went through most of the cameras, and they seemed just broken and not very well taken care of. Then I suddenly found this one at the bottom of a box beneath a table in the centre… It seemed relatively well taken care of, filters on the lens, and very few scratches… just lying there… at the cost of almost nothing…:)

I just had to buy it… Now my new project is analogue film photograpy;)And the most cool thing was… when I showed the camera to my old man later that day… I had all forgot that he used to have a lot of old Minolta gear… which he still had in his photogear bag! So now I can enjoy his old Minolta 24mm f2.8, 50mm f1.7, 150mm and his 300mm on this camera.

I have now managed to order some good films; Fuji Neopran 1600, Ilford Delta 3200 and Kodak T-MAX 100, and is really excited to try these out. I have also read a lot about cross processing films, and I will definitely try it out … just love the cool effects you can achieve. Just hope there is a photo store here in my city actually being able to do the cross process and development of the films for me…
