Hi Tomeu!
I did a lot of research before buying this lens, and found both positive and negative reviews. My experience is that it is a little soft wide open, but very sharp from f4 and upwards, particularly on the tele-end (50-70mm). It has a relatively robust build quality, and the AF is more than fast enough for me (I'm no sports-photographer ;-)) The macro is also a pro for me :-) With the fact that it (used, that is) here in Norway is only 1/4th of the price of the "original" Canon 24-70 (a new copy) is a good thing ;-) The 24-70 focal lenghts are "perfect" on a full format camera, and fits my 5D very well. On a crop-sensor on the other hand, I can imagine the lens is a bit of "neither nor"... too little wide-angle in the wide end ... and too little tele in the tele-end... Overall, I am very happy with it. I have used a lot, check out the pics in my blog, I have used the 24-70 in a lot of these :-) Good luck :-)
