Sometimes, a photo just “happens”… and for one or many reasons you just fall in love with it… To me, this one is such a photo.
For about 17-18 years ago, I ran around with my fathers analogue Minolta camera, spending a fortune on taking crappy dias pictures, trying to learn the magicĀ relationships between shutter, ISO and f-numbers… Between then and last summer, I for some strange reason only thought of photography as a tool for documenting holidays and family events.
Then, by accident, I borrowed my fathers Canon 20D, along with a macro-lens in august 2008… And this is a photo from that “first day” I actually started my new “photography life”. I love the simplicity, the beauty and the fragility in this photo… and it for some reason brings out a lot of feelings in me when looking at it
I think that’s why I keep coming back to this photo, and never get finished with it…
Just wanted to share it with you![]()
PS: In norwegian, the name of the flower means “Never forget me”… and happens to be one of the most beautiful flowers I know![]()
